Montgomery Elementary School has been named a Georgia School of Excellence. The school was founded in 1963 and named after DeKalb’s first state senator, Major J.M.C. Montgomery. Montgomery Elementary School enrolls close to 400 students grades pre-K to 6th. Its students are active in a variety of educational and extracurricular opportunities including Math Counts, Spelling Bees, art and media festivals and the Duke University Talent Search Program.

Saint Martin ’s Episcopal School was established in 1959 and enrolls over 500 students from pre-school to 8th grade. An Episcopal school in the North Brookhaven, Atlanta area, Saint Martin’s provides its students with a wide range of extracurricular academic, art and athletic opportunities including Math Counts, Spelling Bee, Cross Country, soccer, chorus, the Speech and Drama Club and tennis. Saint Martin ’s also provides before/ after-school care and summer camps.

Our Lady of the Assumption School is a private, Catholic elementary school in the North Brookhaven , Atlanta area. The school began with the construction of its main building in 1952. Our Lady of the Assumption enrolls students from pre-K to 6th grade. Students are active in extracurricular opportunities including basketball, Oratorical contests, the National Junior Honor Society, the Literary Magazine and the school band just to name a few.

Chamblee Middle School enrolls over 700 students in grades 7th and 8th. Student programs include the Resident Program, Impact Gifted Program, Discipline and Student Support Program, Magnet School for High Achievers, ESOL Program, Special Education Program and SAT Preparation.

Marist School was originally founded in 1901 as an all-male military school in downtown Atlanta , Marist was relocated to Ashford-Dunwoody Road in 1976. The school became co-ed shortly after and discontinued its military program. Today, the school enrolls over 1,000 students grades 7-12 in a college-preparatory program that is grounded in the Catholic tradition. Students are active in campus ministry, the arts and athletics (AAAA in the Georgia High School Association).

Chamblee Charter High School was established in 1917 and became a Charter School in 2001. The school includes grades 9-12 and currently enrolls over 1,300 students. Over 400 students are enrolled in their Magnet Program. Chamblee Charter High School offers excellent academic programs to its students, including their Magnet Program, Gifted/ Impact Program, High Achievers Program, Resource Program and Advanced Placement Program. Chamblee also offers its students many athletic and extracurricular opportunities.

Oglethorpe University  was founded in 1835 by a Georgia charter, Oglethorpe University is a co-educational, liberal arts University in the Brookhaven, Atlanta area. Over 1,000 students attend Oglethorpe University and represent various countries from around the world. Students are very active in the Atlanta community through various employment, recreation and community service opportunities.
